A Week in My Shoes

Hey, everyone. Terri here again. I want to tell you a little about a week in my shoes. Most of what you see or hear of me is photos or videos. I want you to know me. Like getting to know a character in a book. They sometimes seem like they live next door.

My kids finished their 2nd week of school. I work at one of the schools in my town, so when Summer is over my life gets super busy. I have 3 jobs...... Mom, photographer, and lunch lady to many, many elementary age children. I love my 3 jobs, but doing them all at once gets a little intense.

This past Summer break I really put many hours into growing my business. My goal is to stay home and be a full time business owner. But this takes so much time, energy, and emotion. I am tired and feel like I am busy almost every minute of the day. I am not complaining. I have really enjoyed the work of building my business and have learned so much about business in the 21st century. It is amazing! Really it is!!

My week consists of taking my kids to school and then going off to work. I go to the gym after work and run errands. I go home and do housework, make dinner and several other details to take care of my family. I then sit down and work on my photography business. I try to spend time on it every day. On Wednesdays, my kids go to youth group and me and my hubby have a little date night. Friday, I do my grocery shopping for the coming week. Saturday I take off. No cleaning. No business. Just my family. Sunday is church and family movie night. I usually fit in some chores as well.

Whew! I have to sigh just thinking about it. But you know what? I love it. I love being a mom and a wife and a business owner. I wouldn't change anything. I am truly blessed!

What is your week like? Do you work or do you stay home? Do you have children? I want to get to know you. Think of me as your neighbor. Let's get to know each other. Please tell me about yourself in the comments below. I can't wait to hear from you, neighbor.
