It amazes me what can make a neat photo. An item we don't think too much about and probably see everyday can become something neat and beautiful through the lens of a camera. 

Family Photo Tips: Location

Location is very important! Photos don't have to just be taken inside a studio with a backdrop. There are lots of great ideas outdoors.
If you decide to do your family photo outdoors, drive around and look at different areas to find beautiful and unique backdrops. Or browse photos online to get some really great ideas. Be sure to pick a spot that matches the personality of your family. You want these photos to reflect the life of your family and add a personal touch. (The Dating Divas)

This is what is left of the flowers my husband gave me for our anniversary almost a month ago. There were lots of different flowers in this bouquet and I have since thrown the others, but these keep on.

I was having fun taking photos of the pumpkin outside my house. I love Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday. I don't know what it is about pumpkins, but I think they are so neat.

We have a family friend that loves to spend time with our kids. Him and his wife try to be at their concerts and birthday parties. This is a photo of our daughter laying her head on his shoulder as they watch our youngest sons concert.
