Throwback Thursday!!!!

Today I wanted to post a photo of my family from over 3 years ago. It is so funny to see how much the kids change. I had my camera all set up and ready while a friend of ours took the photo. What memories!!!

Photo Tip!!!!

Don't you hate it when you take what you think is a beautiful picture of someone and when you see it later the flash left them looking like they have been possessed by a demon? Ah, that wonderful red eye look. Well, here is a quick tip to help prevent that. Ask the person you are taking a photo of to not look straight at the camera. You will not only prevent red eye, but you will get an interesting look to the photo.  Try it and see what you think. Happy Clicking!!

You Know Your a Photographer When.....

.....You carry a camera with you at all times. You may even have different sizes of cameras so you can have one in your purse. Or maybe you even get that perfect smart phone because of how well it takes photos. Lol Either way, you know your a photographer.

You Know Your a Photographer When.....

I love these little jokes. They are so true which also makes them so funny. I am going to post one every so often just for some fun!

You know your a photographer when you have planned and timed and stood out in the cold to get that perfect photo of the sunrise or sunset.

Throwback Thursday!!!!

Today I decided to post a photo from one of my first family sessions. It was a fun session and I think it turned out pretty good for being the first time.

Fun Fact!

Did you know that the mechanics of a camera are very close to that of the human eye?

It would take me a whole lesson to explain but basically the camera is built to do the same thing as the eye to produce an image. I just thought this was a neat piece of trivia. So, next time you get behind your camera, think about how intricate that piece of machinery was built by the Creator and the camera is cool too. ;)
