Foto Tip Friday!!!!! Vacation photography

Vacation Photography Tips

Spring break has just begun for me and my family. Usually we go somewhere, but this year we are staying home. I am sure many people will be traveling so I thought I would give some tips on vacation photography.

1. If you own a big DSLR, you may want to also bring a small point and shoot camera. They are easier to carry around and quicker when you want to grab a quick shot of something.

2.If you are on a tour, don't be afraid to step away from the group to take some photos with less people in them.

3. Include people in your photos as much as possible. Unless you are on vacation alone, not only is the vacation spot important but the people you are with are important as well. They are a part of the memories.

4. Make sure your batteries are fresh or fully charged. We have all had those moments when we realize we have a dead battery and missed some amazing shots. These are not happy memories. 😟

5. Along with batteries, make sure you have an empty SD card or bring extras. Again, we have all had those moments that we don't like.

6. Take photos of the food you eat, especially if it is something you don't get to eat often at you hometown restaurants.

Here is just a few tips to remember before your next vacation. Have fun! Capture the type of memories that make you feel like you are there again when you look at your photos. Vacations don't happen everyday, so capture as many moments as you can.

Happy Clicking!!!!
