- You want a backdrop that emphasizes you, not takes over the photo.
- Choose a color that will bring out your eyes. Eyes are usually the first thing people see when looking at a photo.
- Choose a color that contrasts with your skin tone. For example, someone who is blonde, light skin tone, and blue eyes would work best in front of a blue background. Their face would be visually pleasing because the blue compliments it. Don't choose something too dark, because it might wash you out.
