Morning Hike!!!!

Today I spent the morning hiking. I don't usually spend my mornings this way but would love to do a lot more of it. It is great exercise and the nature it so beautiful. It poses so well for the camera. Lol. Here are some of the photos I took this morning.

Throwback Thursday!!!

I love this photo! I took it several years ago at a resort we were staying at. Arizona has some of the best sunsets! Love it!

The Rule of Thirds

Here is a little bit of photography trivia. There is something called the Rule of Thirds. It involves dividing an image into nine equal parts and placing your subject on a third of the screen. Next time you look at a tv program you will notice that this rule is used a lot. It is recommended in photography as well because it is more pleasing to the eye. Here is an example:

Because she is in the left third of the photo, it leads your eye to the fact that she is heading to the right. So, in a way it tells a story. Watch for this rule all around you. Happy Clicking!!!

Throwback Thursday!!!!

Today a friend and I decided that it was not Thursday, but actually Friday Eve! I like that! Lol But Throwback Friday eve just doesn't fit so I will just continue to call it Throwback Thursday.

I love this photo. We were out on a hiking trail next to a creek when these clouds began to roll in. It was magnificent. I love the contrast of the white clouds and the blue sky. So beautiful and majestic!!!!
