Here is a photo from my very first maternity session as a photographer. It was so fun and I learned so much from it. I continue to learn something new at every session. It never gets dull!!! =)

Morning Hike!!!!

Today I spent the morning hiking. I don't usually spend my mornings this way but would love to do a lot more of it. It is great exercise and the nature it so beautiful. It poses so well for the camera. Lol. Here are some of the photos I took this morning.

Throwback Thursday!!!

I love this photo! I took it several years ago at a resort we were staying at. Arizona has some of the best sunsets! Love it!

The Rule of Thirds

Here is a little bit of photography trivia. There is something called the Rule of Thirds. It involves dividing an image into nine equal parts and placing your subject on a third of the screen. Next time you look at a tv program you will notice that this rule is used a lot. It is recommended in photography as well because it is more pleasing to the eye. Here is an example:

Because she is in the left third of the photo, it leads your eye to the fact that she is heading to the right. So, in a way it tells a story. Watch for this rule all around you. Happy Clicking!!!

Throwback Thursday!!!!

Today a friend and I decided that it was not Thursday, but actually Friday Eve! I like that! Lol But Throwback Friday eve just doesn't fit so I will just continue to call it Throwback Thursday.

I love this photo. We were out on a hiking trail next to a creek when these clouds began to roll in. It was magnificent. I love the contrast of the white clouds and the blue sky. So beautiful and majestic!!!!

Throwback Thursday!!!

I took this photo several years ago with my old camera. I was so impressed that I could stand still enough to get the moon in focus. I love this photo. I find it so serene and peaceful!

April is here and Spring has Sprung!!!!

March is over and April is upon us! So, what is coming up for April? This month if you book a standard session, I will throw in a coffee mug of your favorite photo. When you drink your coffee in the morning, you can gaze upon the photo of someone special in your life. Now, that would make almost anyone smile!
 Also, the charity of the month will be The Community Pregnancy Center. (cpcprescott.org) Help out by booking your Spring session and I will give 10% of all my sales to this great cause.

March 31

Here we are on the last day of March! So, the question is what did I learn this month with this challenge? First, I learned how to use my lens better. I kept the same lens on all month. Second, I learned that it doesn't matter what the subject of the photo is. It may be something off the wall and it doesn't even have to be a work of art to be a memory. Thirdly, I learned that you can also take that off the wall subject and make it into a work of art. This was fun! I so suggest any of you to take on this same challenge!
